AP Practice-3

This course is part of the Advanced Placement program, meaning that you have the opportunity at year's end

to earn college credit.  In order to do that, however, you must pass the AP Human Geography test, which includes both multiple choice and free response questions.  During your time in this class you will have multiple opportunities to practice the skills necessary to pass this test.  However, if you are looking for additional practice for this gauntlet of geographic acumen I have assembled some resources here to help you practice for the test.

Final Week Review!!!

How do I answer the Free Response Questions?

Here is a guide that gives advice for how to answer FRQs on the AP exam.  I have also attached a link that helps break down the main topics of each year, as well as what was asked of students.  It's good to look over.

 AP Practice Guides

Though I didn't require them for this course, I HIGHLY recommend that you get one of the numerous AP Human Geography study guides that you can find at any major book store.  The top contenders are Barrons, Kaplan, and the Princeton Review.  The biggest help with these are the practice tests that you get towards the end.  On top of that, each contains a list of vocabulary that is helpful for studying (most of the test is vocab and knowing where stuff is).  Here are some links to find AP Study Guides.
